3rd Party Certifications

The Clean Industry Management Standard (CIMS) was established by experts selected by the ISSA, Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association in collaboration with the American Institute for Cleaning Sciences (AICS). CIMS is a consensus-based management standard for cleaning contractors.

HHPC Day is the industry’s only Day Cleaning certification program. It ensures that building service contractors have the background, operational knowledge, and tools to ensure a systematic and smooth transition to Day Cleaning.

Green Seal developed the life cycle-based sustainability standards for green products, services and companies. Certification criteria include planning, products, supplies, equipment, procedures, training, documentation, and communications.

GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification Program assures that products designed for use in office environments and other indoor spaces meet strict chemical emissions limits.

The Ecovadis sustainability assessment methodology is at the heart of our Ratings and Scorecards and is an evaluation of how well a company has integrated the principles of Sustainability/CSR into their business and management system. Harvard has a Bronze level score.

CDP is considered one of the best platforms for an organization to disclose greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs). Harvard responds annually to CDP, with details on our Scope 1 (gas used in fleet vehicles), Scope 2 (electricity used in our offices), and Scope 3 (impact of cleaning products, impact of employee commuting, and impact of employee business travel) GHGs.
